Our family including daughters have used Ronald Young + Co on three separate occasions over the last 15 years and it is therefore no surprise that we chose them on this occasion for what we expect will be our final build. Now in our retirement years we had specific housing needs for the future and we were thankful for the design work undertaken by RY Builders in order to achieve these needs. Our need to have level access from all exits in our home, spacious bathrooms with safety features and wider entry doors / hallways were all met within the building project. Our home is not large but we were able to build with three large bedrooms, study and a good size open plan living space including great kitchen. We were impressed that RY Builders listened carefully to what we needed from the outset and we are therefore very happy with the final design and build.

Final cost of home came in on budget although we spoilt ourselves with some extra trimmings such as double glazing, external heritage stone blocks and kitchen design. We have no hesitation in recommending Ronald Young + Co to any of our friends and of course family.

After finding the perfect block of land, there was no question other than to build with Ronald Young. During the course of my employment I have worked closely with several builders; Ronald Young’s integrity, ethics, communication and workmanship was notably superior to everyone else.

I had done some initial research online finding the style of home that would suit my block. At my initial meeting with Paul and James I showed them a picture of the style of home that I wanted. We discussed my requirements and I left it with James, to design the floor plan. I was amazed that James was able to design what I wanted without any alterations apart from room sizing. The process was seamless.

Brendan the Building Supervisor communicated with me throughout the building process and explained what was happening at every stage. They were flexible, responsive and supportive of variations. The workmanship of the home was of an excellent standard and I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out.

Working with the team at Ronald Young was a great experience. When building a house you get told of people’s nightmare experiences, however we only experienced professionalism, positive solutions and over all had fun! They guided us through masses of red tape, held our hand through each stage and delivered us our dream home. I would have to completely agree with their statement “constructing homes, building friendships”. I would recommend the team to anyone wanting to build, they’re wonderful to be aligned with!

The team at RY Bilders & Co are second-to-none. At every stage of the process for building my first home, they communicated exceptionally well, were so friendly, and answered every question I had (which probably totalled over 500!). The whole process, starting with their inhouse design service, to planning and approvals, help with selections, then finally to site and build and handover, they were extraordinary.

The build was of fantastic quality, and I truly couldn't be happier.
