As first time builders and although we had undertaken quite a bit of renovating over the years, we were not sure of the processes involved in a complete build. As we had a design and vision of our own that we had our hearts set on, to suit the site and the way we wanted to live within that environment, we had looked around at a few building companies. We also asked our friends and work colleagues for builder recommendations and Ronald Young + Co came as highly recommended. The after sales service and attention to detail to finish our beautiful home, has allowed us to be reassured that our home will bring us pleasure for many years and the quality of the work was exemplary.
Our family including daughters have used Ronald Young + Co on three separate occasions over the last 15 years and it is therefore no surprise that we chose them on this occasion for what we expect will be our final build. Now in our retirement years we had specific housing needs for the future and we were thankful for the design work undertaken by RY Builders in order to achieve these needs. Our need to have level access from all exits in our home, spacious bathrooms with safety features and wider entry doors / hallways were all met within the building project. Our home is not large but we were able to build with three large bedrooms, study and a good size open plan living space including great kitchen. We were impressed that RY Builders listened carefully to what we needed from the outset and we are therefore very happy with the final design and build.
Final cost of home came in on budget although we spoilt ourselves with some extra trimmings such as double glazing, external heritage stone blocks and kitchen design. We have no hesitation in recommending Ronald Young + Co to any of our friends and of course family.
